About the adventure

What happens when a tribe of goblins stumbles upon a downed gnomish airship? Nothing good! The players are called upon by a gnomish clan to stop the goblins, save the ship and rescue the prisoners! This is DnD 5e high-flying adventure for 3-5 characters of 3rd level. There will be plenty of aerial combat opportunities with a good measure of swashbuckling thrown in. How to prepare

Voice will be through discord. You will receive an invite to the Cobalt's Quest server. Locate the name of the game (The Jolly Gobber) and click on the Gaming voice channel. Video is optional. What I provide

I will provide access to character creation through DnD Beyond. I will provide maps and tokens for players unless players have tokens they wish to provide.

Gameplay details

This game will immerse you into the three tenants of Dungeons and Dragons. Exploration, Roleplay, and Combat. This game contains fantasy violence. We'll be using Roll20 for maps, lighting, resources and more. We'll use a combination of strategic combat using gridded maps, and more narrative, theater-of-the-mind combat when appropriate. Roleplay is highly suggested. You don't have to use a special voice for your character but acting as your character in terms of behaviors, decisions, and values (just to name a few), is essential. Knowledge of the rules is helpful but not necessary. You can learn as you play along. I use lines and veils for safety. Lines and veils set boundaries on content for a game. Lines are hard limits on content. They are things that the players don’t want in the game. Veils are things that are ok to be suggested at but to not be shown.Lines and veils can be adjusted as needed throughout the game. This game contains fantasy violence. I have a zero tolerance policy on the following in or out of game: SEXUAL ASSAULT (OF ANY KIND) RACISM / HOMOPHOBIA / SEXISM

How will character creation work

Players will receive a link from me to build a character in DnD Beyond so that they can have access to my vast library of materials. I will be available to answer any character creation questions up until game time. Please also have the Beyond DND app installed on your google browser to sync it with roll 20. Check the Player Preparation Section.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
