About the adventure

Are you ready to become a hero of The Highlands? It's time to put on a kilt and take up your claymore! This 5E D&D campaign gives you the chance to explore wind-swept moors, forested glens, and haunted lochs, in a setting inspired by Scottish history and folklore. This is a beginner-friendly campaign, with a focus on roleplay, collaborative storytelling, and party cooperation. The Highlands are dangerous, and you'll need to work together with your fellow adventurers to survive. The campaign begins with a main quest and clear objectives, which can be completed in 5-7 sessions. However, the setting offers unlimited potential for further adventures, should players wish to continue beyond the initial storyline.

How to prepare

A basic understanding of the rules is encouraged; you can find all the core rules freely available on websites like DnDBeyond and Roll20, without having to purchase any books or digital materials. You must have a microphone to participate, and though camera use is encouraged, it's by no means essential. Ideally, you should also have a relatively stable internet connection, to avoid disconnections and lag.

What I provide

I will provide access to Foundry VTT, a dynamic virtual gaming platform that you can access through your browser. Foundry VTT provides audio and video, and allows me to share detailed and unique battle maps with you. I will also provide music and atmospheric effects to help with immersion.
