About the adventure

Welcome heroes, To the Sword Coast North, the region to the North-West of Faerûn. A beautiful region filled with a landscape of rugged hills, precarious mountain ranges and dense forests, it was home to several like-minded towns and cities. The most prominent of these cities banded together with nearby allies to form the Lords' Alliance. An alliance which is sworn to protect the Faerûn region. This miner, named Gundren rockseeker, is looking for 4 - 6 mercenaries to help him escort his wagon of provisions and goods from Neverwinter to Phandalin. A small now south-east that was built on the ruins of an old thriving miners town. This rockseeker fellow wants you to deliver the wagon to some trading post called Barthen's Provisions. I guess someone named Elmar Barthen will be meeting you there and paying each party member 10 gp each. Hurry and gather a party as Gundren Rockseeker is onto some important business. He's in a hurry for you to get started on this trip, and get his supplies to phandalin as soon as possible. Hello players, My name is Wes, but you can call me Dungeon Master Chef. I've been running games for about a year now. Specifically D&D 5e. I run a pretty relaxed table for the most part. I really don't want to have arguing or disagreements at my table. I have some rules that i stand pretty strong on and I have rules that can be altered as we go. That being said, let's get into the basics before you join my table. Table Information: The campaign: Lost Mines of Phandelver (The original starter kit campaign) Continue the campaign: We can run what i call "Heroes of Faerûn." if everyone wants to continue after the module designed for (LMoP) is done. I have some cool concepts after this module. or We can rule modules that continue the game from level we stopped at. Talk to the Dungeon master about plans if you enjoy the game and want to continue your adventure. If you are not familiar with Lost Mines of Phandalin, you're in luck. This is one of my favorite starting points for the area known as Faerûn. There is a lot of area to explore for both the experienced and the new players of this world. D&D is a great game and this is a great module to start with when learning how to play the game. ========================= Game-play info: - We run RAW but loosely. Everything big gets a vote on altering/adding rules, next module (to continue), etc. I'm big on party vote over saying im the dm and my word is law! - I try to avoid heavy homebrew! If you want to do some stuff that's within 5e books, I'll likely allow it but im not big on outside material i don't own because the first 5 levels is a "starter campaign module". - I own: Players Handbook | Tasha's Cauldron on beyond. I only buy digital for my players/personal character build use. I like physical and own a big physical collection. I update when i buy new digital material. (if i don't have a book you need - you can content share or i'll see if i can purchase before session.)

How to prepare

Have a character idea in mind before session 0. Make sure you understand the basics of D&D. I'm always here to help new players but having some info from reading through SRD & PHB will help things make sense faster. D&D is a bit of a heavy rule game. - Message me once you have joined. We need you to join discord.

What I provide

I bring a fun environment, entertaining RP, and combat that will keep you on your toes. I push to make sure all my players are having a great time during their sessions at my table. I'm always looking to challenge my players and help push their backgrounds into the campaigns so that they feel more involved in the world they're playing in.

Gameplay details

I offer a free session 0 where we establish ground rules and character building. I also have rules in place to make sure no player feels uncomfortable. Stuff like an X card. There are table rules and an agreement that also aids player safety in my games.
