About the adventure

Many stories begin on a dark and stormy night. This one begins on a balmy summer afternoon because the horses decided to take inspiration from mules and refuse to go any further. Fortunately, stubborn pack animals aside, there just so happens to be a large mansion in the middle of the wilderness. Totally normal and a complete coincidence, of course. Might as well take advantage of this luck and go inside to ask for a meal and a place to rest, and hope that the horses have come to their senses in the morning. Except upon entering, there doesn't seem to be someone around to ask? Guess the only thing left to do is wander around looking for the mansion's owner because a little trespassing never goes wrong. Or maybe, this time it does?

Additional Details

How to prepare

You will need: A strong internet connection, a good headset/mic, a way to take notes, and to have filled out the RPG Consent Checklist and attended a Session 0 with me. Additionally, I must have your character sheet at least 2 hours before the start of the game. If you are unfamiliar with using Foundry, please watch the player video tutorials. I also highly suggest having some sort of picture (.jpg or .png) of your character that can be used as your token in Foundry.

What I provide

I will open Foundry to you about 30 min. before the start of the session. This way, you can check over your character and familiarize yourself with any of the functions within Foundry. I record each session, and upon request can provide a copy of that recording. However, please make sure to ask for a copy within 5 days after the session, as the recording gets deleted afterwards.

Gameplay details

Optional: Want me to work with you on character creation? You'll need to schedule a discord call with me for a Session 0 where I'll briefly set the expectations for tone of the game and we'll discuss your character. Please note your character may be subject to changes. I will also need a copy of the RPG Consent Checklist filled out before you can play, which can be found under the #resources chat in the discord server. Each session we'll have a 15 min. break about halfway through. And after each session we'll debrief, discuss the session, and I will open the floor for questions and any feedback you may have.

How will character creation work

Character Level: 8 You are welcome to create a character on your own and send me a copy or discuss this during a Session 0, but please be aware that the character may be subject to some changes. It is preferred that you use either Foundry or DnD Beyond to create your character. Please send me your character as soon as you can. It really helps me out on prep.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
