Halloway Manor; paranormal investigators

About the adventure

Set in Ireland in the late 1800's, the Halloway Manor has been abandoned save for its groundskeeper, Seamus O'Leary. The Halloway family have fled the property following strange circumstances and placed an ad in the penny dreadfuls and various papers in England, the locals of the area have also spread information and rumour regarding the strange goings on at the Manor. As a clairvoyant, witch, local savant or con artist Medium you have travelled here to offer your services in investigating and releasing the Manor from its unwanted spiritual resident or residents. What will you find in the Manor itself, what awaits you in the grounds and the family graveyard, its mausoleum cold and forboding, looming over the once well wandered gardens. Will what chased away the Halloway family drive you out as well? Come find out, and with luck set some spirits to rest.

How to prepare

Please have a notebook for your evidence or puzzle scribbles, dice ( either physical dice or a dice roller app is fine) If you can read the rules beforehand that is great but during the first half hour we will be able to go over anything that is confusing or unclear (please remember the "rules" are guidelines, the two actual rules are to have fun and respect each other, a mic will be needed and although a webcam is encouraged it is not necessary. Sheets are available online or I can provide a form fillable character sheet if needed.

Gameplay details

X, N, & O's can be messaged to me or held up on camera, whichever you are comfortable with, there will be a break offered and aftercare, a postgame discussion around your feelings or emotional responses to the content in game.

How will character creation work

The first 30 minutes of game time will be set aside for any remaining character creation and rules explanation, the game is available to play in Thirsty Sword Lesbians or D&D 5e rulesets so please if you don't have experience in one or the other (or either) learning and helping throughout the game is totally ok and I will help you should you have any questions or concerns please make use of the open door policy.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
