Godkiller: A Holypunk RPG

About the adventure

GODKILLER: First Blood Edition is a holypunk PbtA (Powered by the Apocalypse) game for one player, the Godkiller, and one Game Master, the god of gods. Together, the two of you will weave a mythic, violent, and transformative tale about the only mortal in existence with the power to slay a god, rising against the challenges of the divine. Which gods will you kill to shape the realm — and which gods will you spare? Designed for one player and one GM, let me know if you need a different time!

How to prepare

I will be sending over the book beforehand, I recommend reading it if possible and thinking about your character. The game will be played on Role with a Discord channel for communication. I recommend a webcam and mic. As for dice, we can use digital or physical dice, you'll only need 2d6's.

What I provide

I will bring the game documents and character sheets and create an engaging game play experience!

Gameplay details

The player can expect a session zero and consistent use of Lines and Veils, aftercare and debriefing, and verbal and digital X, N, and O cards.

How will character creation work

This particular game has a custom character build, so we will schedule a session zero and character creation prior to the game start. This session will be discounted and about an hour in total.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
