About the adventure

Remastered/Homebrewed Lore Fully Voiced & Interactive NPC's Lore fashioned from your Characters Backstory Immersive Background Music and Ambience Welcoming to players both New and Old -- Welcome to the Azure Sea. A vast ocean that stretches from the Hold of the Sea Princes in the west to Idee in the east. It is here where a majority of Greyhawk conducts its trade with one another. By utilizing the many routes that the Azure Sea has to offer, seafaring has become the prime trade of many of Grayhawk's coastal cities. Unfortunately, with the Azure Sea being a teeming hotspot of trade and wealth. It has also attracted the unwanted attention of those that seek to wreak havoc upon it. Smugglers, Pirates, and Cultists have begun to slowly carve their mark onto the Azure sea. With trade now being threatened by the sudden rise of chaos, rumors have begun to spread throughout the coastal cities. Rumors of an ancient evil lingering within the depths of the sea. Our story takes place in Saltmarsh. Unlike most of its neighbors, Saltmarsh still engages in heavy trade amongst the chaos. By utilizing the shallow coasts as well as armed mercenary convoys, Saltmarsh has become a beacon of hope along the coasts... or so it seems. -- Take to the sea and explore the city of Saltmarsh! Experience interactive ship combat and oceanic exploration! Live the swashbuckling fantasy you've always dreamed of!

How will character creation work

Character creation will be handled at session zero in a private discord server. All races, classes, and subclasses are permitted as long as they are published WOTC material. I am open to homebrew, as long as it makes sense mechanically/aesthetically to the setting. Characters will start at Level 4 and will start together as a party. Potential tie-ins will be discussed at session zero! WE might start in a tavern or we might just start into the thick of it. This varies depending on the chemistry of the table!

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Medium
  • Roleplay: High
  • Puzzles: Low
  • Experience Level: Open to all
