Ghosts of Saltmarsh Level 1-20 campaign!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20, Zoom
About the adventure
We start our journey in an inconsequential fishing village the Sword Coast of the Forgotten Realms. This village is known as Saltmarsh. Here there is civil unrest as the new Lord Protector Renar Neverember implements a new dwarven mining initiative. Some villagers welcome new commerce and trade, others think the mines paint a fresh target on Saltmarsh for the Pirate Lords of Luscan. But what looms more dominantly on the minds of the villagers are the threats of the undead. Stories of haunted grounds, fear that ghosts are moving in from the Mere of Dead Men in the south have put everyone on edge. Luckily, new heroes are on their way, for better or worse, Saltmarsh will never be the same. But of course, on distant shores, far from the problems of Saltmarsh trouble is stewing the Courts of the Shadow Fey. Intrigue, assassinations, and cunning words end and build lives forever. Soon enough, the political turmoil will threaten to draw in new players to the never ending marinations of the Elves who do so love to duel with deceptions.
How to prepare
This is a voice and video game, new players are by no means asked to show up fully studied but some basic understanding of the rules is appreciated. Applying that understanding and further learning about the game will be built in game! New players are encouraged to join the game and become experts down the road. There are a lot of complicated rules so it's no sweat!
What I provide
The game will take place on zoom call. Battle maps, music, and visual references will be presented on Roll20. Important hand outs will be presented there as well.
These games are a balance between combat and role playing. Though this game will enjoy interesting combats the role playing is what makes an interesting story. Be prepared to use your wits and skills as much (if not more) than your sword.
