Ghostbusters D6: Christmas Editions

About the adventure

Christmas is just around the corner, and everyone is getting into the spirit. Even your team of fellow Ghostbusters are enjoying this usually slow time of year; with decorating the Club House, blaring Christmas music, and even helping out a few of the local charities with some of their seasonal events. Recently, though, you've been hearing some rumors about odd happenings at the new Christmas Village that was opened a few days ago. Then you hear reports of people seeing a large two-legged goat-like creature skulking around the Christmas Village, and some kids have apparently gone missing about the same time. Could it be that the infamous darker side of jolly Santa Clause, the Krampus, has somehow made a home in the local Christmas Village? Or is it just some whack-job dressing the part? Well, it's time to strap on your Proton Packs and grab your patented EKG Meter, because you've been hired to find out! This is an exploratory/investigative One-Shot, with some dungeon-crawl elements thrown in for good measure, using a version of West End Games' D6 system. You'll be playing as a team of 'franchised' Ghostbusters from the local Chapter, as you investigate the supposed Krampus that's running a muck at the local holiday exposition.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Only thing players will need to do to prepare is to have a Roll20 account, a mic/headset, and to watch any of the Ghostbuster Movies (Classic 80's 1 & 2, as well as the 2016 Reboot), or even the classic animated series, The Real Ghostbusters to make sure you have it fresh in mind!

Everything the players will need to play the game will be provided by either myself or by Roll20.net

Gameplay details

I'll be using a version of the D6 System by West End Games. There'll be plenty of searching for clues, talking to witnesses, puzzles to solve, strange locations to explore, and a good old boss fight at the end!

How will character creation work

I'll be using pre-generated characters, so players will just need to choose a character, not having to worry about creating one.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
