About the adventure

Six months ago, eleven eleven teleportation gates, called aiudara, activated, overflowing with tremendous white light. Those rare individuals who witness the light within the gates each saw something they desperately desired. Few could resist the urge to walk through the gates. Few returned, and those who did were changed forever, gone for 3 months but with no memory of what occurred. This event became known as the Night of the Missing Moment. Now you and your fellow Gatewalkers must work together to solve the mystery of what happened when you crossed the gate and what connections it has to occult phenomena occurring across Golarion, the planes and even other worlds!

How to prepare

No prior experience with the game is needed. I encourage players to use a webcam so that we can all see each other. I find that this can make games more fun, makes it easier for me to see if people are having fun or not and make it less likely that we'll accidently be talking over each other. At minimum, a mic is needed. Dice are rolled digitally in Foundry VTT.

What I provide

I have a Foundry VTT account with hosting on the Forge. I also have a Discord Server (GM John's Infinite Gaming Worlds). Players only have to join my Discord server and click on the Foundry link when its provided. I'll walk players through how to use Foundry VTT as we play. I have PDFs of all applicable game books.

Gameplay details

We'll use Discord and Foundry VTT to play the game. I'll send links to my Discord Server and to the Foundry VTT game (hosted on the Forge). I'll send out a Google survey based on the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist before the session so that I know what topics players want me to avoid and that I can summarize and communicate to all players in our first session. Players can privately communicate an "X" to me to function as an X-card that players can use at any time during the game to signal that they want me to stop and/or avoid a topic/situation. I'll also send you a survey to learn what type of character you want to play. I'll then construct the player for you, with your feedback.

How will character creation work

We'll have a session zero where we make characters and developing the backstories and reasons your characters coming together to explore the mystery of the Gatewalkers.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
