About the adventure

"Something is killing people in Palebank Village...the last band of adventurers never came back...if our heroes don’t stop it, they might be next, along with the whole region..." 'Frozen Sick' introduces players to to the continent’s Biting North region of the Wildemount setting of D&D —the bleak arctic realms of the Greying Wildlands and Eiselcross. This One Shot version changes the story and encounters along with condensing the adventure down to one session, with some surprises. As a One Shot, this session is designed in mind for those that wish to learn how to play Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition and get a grasp of roleplaying.

How will character creation work

This is a One Shot designed to introduce players to both roleplaying and Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition, as such, it is heavily recommend to select one of the pre-generated characters provided for the One Shot. However, if a player would like to make their own character, they may do so. Player characters are Level 3. Standard Array is used for determining character stats, however, Hit Points are always assumed to be rolled at maximum value. Races, Spells, Feats and Sub-Classes Allowed From: Player's Handbook Volo’s Guide to Monsters Xanathar’s Guide to Everything Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything
