FREE introduction to Dogs in the Bark - Forged in the Dark meets Indonesian Night Market

About the adventure

Being a dog is tough. The penetrating heat in the day forces you in the shadow. The looming danger of the night keeps you on the edge. The Men threaten you with sticks and the street has little to offer besides violence and disease. Yet you somehow rose above the ordinary street mutt. Through toughness, wit or sheer ferocity you clawed and gnawed your way into the high society. You and your pack are now in the place many dogs can only dream of: the Night Market. The cavalcade of smells and sounds as meat is being fried, rice plated up and Men near trample each other at the food stalls provides enough scraps to feed off of. But that is not enough. You are not a scavenger. You defy Men and their sticks, taunt them and trick them. You defy the other packs, growl and snarl, keep them at bay. You defy anyone who is trying to come after what you deserve. The question is, how long can you stay afloat? How long will your strength hold? How long will that wit be quick enough? How long will your pack have your back?

How to prepare

If you want to familiarize yourself with Forged in the Dark or Blades in the Dark, or maybe even Dogs in the Bark, it is great, but no particular preparation will be necessary.

What I provide

I will bring the character sheets and all the digital assets needed for the game.

Gameplay details

We will use Lines and Veils in the start of the game, will have a break in the middle and other breaks as necessary. We will have a debriefing and any player can send a message with an X as an X card.

How will character creation work

I will bring a few pregenerated characters that can be further customized or used as is or the players are welcome to create their own characters before the session with which I am happy to help.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
