About the adventure

You are supposed to drop off goods at a science facility. But after your hyperspace jump did not go as expected, something aboard the ship is... off. A battle against the darkness of space, your own sanity and the other crew members ensues as you try to figure out what happened. --------------------------------------------- ### Foxtrot - A Sci-Fi Horror Roleplaying Experience Foxtrot is a cinematic experience in a floppy-disk-sci-fi setting. Zero preperation, no prior knowledge and no camera required. You just pick one of the 9 available characters, receive secret information based on your choice and jump into it - friendly for both RPG newcomers and seasoned veterans, the rules are explained in less than five minutes before we start! *Runtime*: Up to 4 hours total. One-shot. *System*: Mothership (very light rules, no knowledge required) *Players*: 4-6 *Content warnings*: Psychosis, loss of sanity. explicit violence, claustrophobia, suicide. The themes of claustrophobia and suicide can be avoided without hurting the plot, please just let me know beforehand if you have any sensitive topics and I will accommodate! This game requires a one-time payment to the Game Master of 20€/$25 via Paypal. ### About me Name's Ivan (he/they), a 29 year old non-binary Serbo-Croatian born and raised in Germany. I've been running and playing TTRPGs for 8 years and come from a background of text-based roleplaying before that. My GM style is best described with "gritty realism". ### Foxtrot's reception This one-shot's first 30 sessions received outstanding feedback and reviews for its storytelling, atmosphere and use of resources. It is probably the single most appreciated thing I was ever able to create and I still work on making it even better constantly. It's my baby and I hope the passion shows! ### Pricing Is Foxtrot worth between $6 and $8 per hour? Yes! Is the GM depending on the money to not live off of popcorn the last 10 days every month? Also yes! You're helping a great lot. If you did not enjoy the game at all, I will offer a refund. This happened with two players out of about 150 so far.

How to prepare

To play Foxtrot you will need a functioning mic, a Discord account and a browser that is not Edge or Safari. After adding me there, I will give you some very quick and simple instructions (as simple as "copy this into your browser's address bar and log in with "Demo") so you can pick three characters in order of preference. After everybody chose, I can assign the final character choice to each player and send you your secret information and hidden agenda! Other than this there is zero requirement for any preparation. This is meant to be playable by complete RPG newcomers without anybody having to read through a handout or rules.

What I provide

Characters and the blueprint of the ship the game will take place on are carefully crafted and have both inspiring, but unrestricting short descriptions as well as portraits. If the players agree to it (and this will not be questioned at all, if somebody chooses to reject), the session's audio and the map of the ship will be recorded and may be featured in a highlight reel later!

Gameplay details

Gameplay is a very roleplay-heavy, cinematic experience. You are thrown into a direful situation with seemingly no explanation or trace of what happened and try to understand by exploring your own ship and following your secret agenda while keeping a watchful eye on the other crew members.

How will character creation work

There are 9 premade characters to choose from. They are all specialists in their field of expertise, but the odds in Mothership are almost always against you.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
