About the adventure

Millennia ago, the dwarven creator god Torag shook the earth and called the dwarves to the surface in the Quest for Sky. Taargick rose from the hardships of this journey, becoming the Sky King of Highhelm. For centuries he ruled, creating monuments to Torag and the accomplishments of his people… And then he vanished without a trace. Invited guests of the clans of Highhelm find themselves embroiled in a story of seekers, survivors, and heroes discovering the Sky King’s Tomb. Adventurers gather at a storytelling festival in Highhelm, the greatest dwarven city. In the course of exploring the city and partaking in the festival’s delights, these budding celebrities stumble across a relic of Taargick, drawing them into a deadly treasure hunt. Setting out from Highhelm, you'll venture into the Darklands to find Taargick’s tomb. As you navigate the dangers of a treacherous fey city in search of a relic, you'll discover a group of rivals who also seek the tomb for their own nefarious purposes. Numerous are King Taargick’s accolades – and numerous too are the enemies he made in achieving them. The news of the tomb’s discovery has brought forth an eclectic army of the dwarves’ enemies, and it is up to you to splinter and sabotage this gathering legion from within before they attack. How to prepare

No software installation or account creation is required. Access to a stable internet connection and your browser is all you need! A mic is required, as well as a set of headphones for all the music and sound effects. Getting into a roleplaying mindset is very highly encouraged!

Gameplay details

The Sky King's Tomb is an adventure path that dives deep into the history of the Dwarves within the Pathfinder 2e universe. As such it is highly encouraged that players choose ancestries that fit the theme of the adventure. Please comb through the player's guide to help integrate your character into the world of the adventure path: https://downloads.paizo.com/SkyKingsTombPlayersGuide.pdf This adventure also makes extensive use of the social mechanics of Pathfinder 2e, so opportunities to RP are plentiful and encouraged by the adventure.

How will character creation work

Ancestry: Most permitted, but ancestries mentioned in the player's guide are highly encouraged. Classes: Most allowed. Some restrictions may apply depending on a player's level of experience. Gradual Ability Boost Free Archetype with Multiclass archetypes excluded Backgrounds: Most allowed, but those outlined in the player's guide are highly encouraged Alignment (Good) Character creation will be finalized during session 0, but you are encouraged to come to the table with ideas!
