About the adventure

The time has come. Blood Mist has disappeared. Go forth, adventurers, and seize your fortunes, or die trying. After more than 250 years, the Blood Mist that blocked anyone from travelling more than half a day from his home village has disappeared. The vile Sorcerer Zygofer and his daughter Therania are still said to rule the land with their army of demons, but new freedom to move has been granted to denizens of Ravenland. And you are one of the brave few who leave their home, go out to explore and find riches. Raven's Purge is a large sandbox hexcrawl campaign in award winning game Forbidden lands. Explore huge Ravenland map hex by hex, go meet occupants of its villages, crawl in its dungeons and kill its monsters and demons. The way the game goes is entirely in your hands. Forbidden lands uses Year Zero system with d6 dicepools. Characters are differentiated by their kin (classic fantasy staples like humans, elves, halflings, but also wolfkin), profession (fighter, hunter, sorcerer, peddler, etc.), talents and skills. Character creation allows for a great customization, but the system is fairly rules light and fast.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Pc with browser and microphone is needed, webcam and stable internet connection is appreciated. I will explain the rules at the start and handle character creation at the same time. Dice rolling and character sheets will be handled by Foundry VTT. Discord account for group discussion is a bonus.

What I provide

I will bring VTT, tokens, maps and rules and sourcebooks. And also experience and hopefully fun.

Gameplay details

Before character creation at the beginning of session 1, there will group discussion about individual limits and topics to avoid. During the game, I will be using the X card safety tool in foundry.

How will character creation work

We will create characters and ship together before start of session 1. If you have rules (free quickstart - https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/267633/Forbidden-Lands-Quickstart), you can create your own even before.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
