About the adventure

Forbidden Lands is a new take on classic fantasy roleplaying. In this sandbox survival roleplaying game, you’re not heroes sent on missions dictated by others – instead, you are raiders and rogues bent on making your own mark on a cursed world. You will discover lost tombs, fight terrible monsters, wander the wild lands, and if you live long enough, build your own stronghold to defend. How to prepare

A basic understanding of the rules (a pdf will be provided), and a basic idea of the kind of character you wish to play. Please have a working mic and Discord, and web-cams are optional but encouraged!

What I provide

You will likely want to use the on-screen dice roller, but I'm not opposed to you using physical dice if you wish. There will be custom tokens, high-res maps, and a fully-loaded Foundry VTT

Gameplay details

It is a modern, slick game based on the Year Zero Engine, with an old-school feeling. We will discuss themes, setting and characters in Session 0/1.

How will character creation work

Starting characters are built on Foundry and are fast and easy - creating formative events that determine the journey so far and where you wish to go. All creation will happen on Foundry at creation.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
