About the adventure

Have you ever wished D&D 5th Edition was deadlier? Something with a bit less roleplay and a bit more combat? Five Torches Deep is 5th Edition stripped back to its bare bones and given some Old School Renaissance/Revolution (OSR) flavor. You are adventurers out hunting for treasure, but the world of Five Torches is not the kindly hand of a videogame tutorial, it is one that forgot there was even a frying pan before it tossed you into the fire. You need experience, and in FTD that means gold, but the world is not particularly willing to part with it. So you have to take it by force. Combat is brutal, even experienced wizards fear what can come of using magic, and every arrow loosed is another notch closer to running out of supplies for the dive... How far will you delve when you're Five Torches Deep?

Additional Details

How to prepare

Players will need to bring a microphone and have Tabletop Simulator installed. An invite to the Discord and Steam will be given in the group message system 30 minutes prior to stated start time.

What I provide

I will be bringing a prepared module on Tabletop Simulator as well as a discord purpose built for this.

Gameplay details

This game will contain violence and gore. Descriptions will be tailored based on a short discussion before play. Expect a combat heavy dungeon delve experience. There will be lots of combat, some puzzles and a minimal amount of social Roleplay.

How will character creation work

There will be pre-generated characters for the adventure. There will be a variety of characters built from the available races and classes presented in the rulebook.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
