About the adventure
It's been 80 years since the Leipzig Event permanently altered the DNA of a sizeable portion of the human species and gave those affected miraculous powers. Spurned by the rest of the human race and treated as outcasts by best and vermin at worst, they live secret lives trying to hide from the wider world. But you are different. You were given these powers and you will use them to protect your own people and to defend the human race. It's time to stop running. It's time to be a hero. Firebrand is a comics-style superhero universe I've been building for ten years. We'll be using Superhero 5e as our system and Foundry as our VTT. We'll explore themes such as humanity while also engaging in high octane heroic combat and social maneuvering.

How to prepare
Players will need a working mic. Webcam is not necessary. I will not be using webcam. Character sheets will be made online and held in the VTT. A friendly outlook is always recommended.
What I provide
I will bring a VTT subscription to Foundry, as well as the corebook and character sheets. I will also bring atmospheric music and imagery to bring to life the city of Seattle in the world of Firebrand.
Gameplay details
Players can expect darker themes. You are warriors fighting a hidden war against prejudice against mutants. Combat is expected frequently. Actions will be scrutinized for collateral damage. Careful playing is recommended.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created at Level 1 during a session zero using Foundry. Homebrew rules will be used. All characters will be Mutants or Humans. Mutants are the desired and thematic main characters of the series, but being non-powered humans is also allowed. Modern Human culture is the only option allowed currently.
