About the adventure

Powerful ambition, poor impulse control. Fisaco is a one-shot game for 3-5 players where you are given a scenario and some very unstable characters, make fraught and poorly-planned connections with the other players, then watch all your plans crumble over two acts! Deal with bridezilla in the worst way possible. Take over as the worst head of a HOA ever. Make deals in rural suburbia that will come back to haunt you. Go on a quest to kill the dragon when you're woefully unprepared. At the end, you'll find out how (and if) you survived the situation, and you'll likely want to play another round! William loves the "yes, and" style play and will try never to shut down a player's imagination. The real joy of the game is finding what new opportunity is created in a terrible situation! William uses fun characters, voices, and new places to explore relationships. If this sounds like a good time, sign up for Fiasco!

How to prepare

1) Webcam and mic are required. If you do not want to use video, that is ok, but it is recommended so players can see reactions and react accordingly to best avoid misunderstanding between players. Some people do better responding to facial expressions or are hearing impaired. 2) Make sure you have Zoom downloaded beforehand ( 3) Create a roll20 account!

What I provide

I'm looking forward to creating a fiasco of a story with you! I am a writer, so the storytelling nature of the game is a natural fit for me. no matter which way we go, I'm ready to throw a new challenge at the players and ensure you have a good time. For Fiasco, I can operate as one of the players and a guiding hand, or I can just facilitate the play. I want you to have an incredibly fun time and laugh at the horrible things that happen to your character. I am very open to interpretations, so no matter what you dream up, I will try to incorporate it into the game. If this sounds fun, join in!

Gameplay details

William likes to bring a diverse and inclusive environment to the table, where people can be whomever they want. You will likely encounter LGBTQIA+ content, POC, people with disabilities, trans and non-binary people, and more. Ask for pronouns, be kind, and if we run into a problem, we will rewind and assess how to best continue. Offenders will be asked not to schedule more games. I do not tolerate: homophobia, transphobia, racism, harassment (verbal, visual, sexual, or other). Safety Tools used: Open Door policy, X, N, and O cards.
