About the adventure
Take a break from your campaign and indulge in some collaborative storytelling! Fiasco is an award-winning GM-less story-telling game inspired by cinematic tales of small-time capers gone disastrously wrong. You’ll tell a story about ordinary people with powerful ambition and poor impulse control! Lives and reputations will be lost, painful wisdom will be gained, and if you are really lucky, you just might end up back where you started. You probably won’t be lucky. Gameplay details
We will be collectively telling a story together. At the outset, we will decide on a playset together, where objects, locations, needs, and relationships are given and then determined. The game will last for 4 rounds. During each round, each player will have a chance to spotlight their character by acting out a short scene that ties into the unfolding storyline. Rules will be explained at the start of the session. Before we begin, we will check in with everyone to see if there are topics or issues that are to be avoided or minimized. We will also employ the "Let's not..." tool if something crops up during the game that makes someone feel unsafe. The exact session length will depend on the total number of players. The more players, the longer it will take.

How will character creation work
When the game begins, we will create our characters out of the relationship, need, object and location cards from a playset deck of cards. This will be a collaborative effort.
