About the adventure

You are a rag-tag gang of mercs looking to make enough caps for your next meal. Luckily for you, the new Arizona Initiative enacted by the NCR seems like just the thing to earn a full belly. Spend a year out east conducting recon and kicking the shit out of Legion boys. Bring back enough Legion Aureus and the big wigs promised a really nice reward. But it's also a race, you see, as the first merc group to go out and get back with enough Legion gold will be the only merc group getting that reward. So be smart and work fast, and you'll be back drinking wine and eating brahman steaks in no time. Hello and welcome to Fallout: Luck of the Draw. Taking place 5 years after an NCR victory in New Vegas, this Sandbox adventure set in the Western United States will have you and your fellow players will make up a merc group hired to go out east of the Colorado River and disrupt Legion activity. Not only are you being handsomely for a year of service, the first merc group to return with enough golden Legion Aureus will be finely rewarded by the president of the NCR himself. This game will use Foundryvtt for battle maps (we will be switching between top-down and isometric), character sheets, dice rolling, sounds, and music. We will also be using Discord for voice and text chat. Games will run for 4 hours with a 15-minute break halfway through. All materials provided, no purchases nessasary!

How to prepare

Mics will be required. Webcams are not required. We'll be using Discord for communication and FoundryVTT for character sheets, dice rolling, maps, music, etc. Check the recruiting notes for a link to the FoundryVTT system requirements to see if your computer can run Foundry successfully. Most can and we will be testing your ability to run them at session 0, which is free. No materials need to be purchased by you! I will provide everything you need to play the game!

I will provide: A discord server The Core books for character creation -- No purchases necessary on your part! A FoundryVTT Server (You do not need to own a license for FoundryVTT to play!) -- Custom dice settings! Make your dice unique to you or your character! -- Ease of use with custom Marcos, Hotbar, and math automation to speed up the gameplay! -- Music and sounds by Tabletop Audio and Monument Studios -- epic battle maps that bring the field of play to life! -- Interactive elements such as terminals, pipboy, and landing page.
