About the adventure

In this home-brewed setting, Reality and Fantasy are two sides of the same coin. One world split into two separate dimensions. Reality has all but forgotten the magic a monsters that used to exist in the world, but recent changes in Fantasy have caused the two dimensions to reconnect. In Reality, people have started to discover magic and unlocking abilities latent in their DNA from far distant ancestors. In Fantasy, tensions are rising as the Ancient Dragons which provide the world with its magic are becoming restless.

How to prepare

Ideally, I'd like to have my players to have their webcam and mic, but that's just because I prefer to play my games in person. At minimum, I'd like people to be comfortable using at least a mic. We'll make characters during session 0, and as long as you have one, I don't care what format your character sheet is in. Discord is my preferred tool, and if we use it, we can use dice bot. Otherwise, I can do Zoom, but i'll need everyone to have their own dice.

What I provide

I always have dice at my disposal, but for online, I'll mostly be using the same dice bot that I'd have my players use. If the game goes well and I have the extra money, I'd love to get an illustration done for my players. Maps will all be digital or shown over a webcam, if a player wants to print them for themselves, go for it

Gameplay details

I don't have many issues or boundaries, personally, but I understand that a lot of people do. I want to mostly use my Session 0s to get a feel for what it is that I shouldn't be using with any particular group. It's easy enough for me to work with others and craft an experience that they will find comfortable and enjoyable. I enjoy running combats with interesting mechanics that keep the players on their toes.

How will character creation work

I like to do character creation during session 0. This gives me an opportunity to work with everyone to write adventures and plot hooks for specific characters, and potentially get the party together before the game starts, thus avoiding "You all meet in a bar/tavern"

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
