About the adventure

EZD6 - Fast and Fun Dungeon Dive If you have ever fancied just tearing through a fun ‘old school dungeon adventure one shot’, without needing to stress over complex rules, or get bogged down with slow simulation combat, then EZD6 might be just the medicine you need to take. EZD6 might actually be one of the best game systems I have ever seen. EZD6 minimises the rules of play without sacrificing player, or GM, choices and options. It’s seriously fantastic. The Hole in the Oak is actually a wonderfully weird dungeon adventure written for Old School Essentials, I just think EZD6 runs faster, giving you much more fun for your time. Quirky and weird, you should have great fun with this one. The stripped down ruleset runs fast and fluid, but is not limited in scope. It sort of unlocks the door, takes the stabilisers off, and really lets the narrative fly. The Combat is fast and thrilling. Rather than just trusting everything to the rules and system, the game allows both players and GM alike to trust their own [and each others] instincts and creativity, and just get wild and have fun. Not only that, EZD6 solves many problems inherent in almost every game system. This is a game designed by a man who knew exactly what he was doing! Sign up and give it a try in this dungeon-bash one-shot.

How will character creation work

Character creation can be done in session, and even, to an extent, during play. Yes, that’s what I said, you don’t have to make all your character choices beforehand. You can leave some ares undecided, filling things out as you get a feel for who and what you want your character to be.
