Escape from Black-Winter Prison

About the adventure

You wake in your prison cell. Your memory seems a bit hazy. Where are you? Why are you behind bars? Are you a criminal? Was it an accident? As you begin to recall bits and pieces of the weeks before now you realize you were victim of circumstance. After a few days of being here it's become clear that the prisoners are treated like wild animals, sometimes they go missing, and there is little hope to get out of here on your own. Maybe a few other prisoners are smart enough to realize what you've realized...you need to work together. Then the thought hits you...who can you really trust?

How to prepare

You'll need to register on roll20.net before you can make a character. You can message me once we set something up and we'll talk about how to help set you up. You need a Mic. You do not need a webcam. If you smoke, I suggest doing so before we play so you wont need to take one before the mid point where I give everyone a 10 minute break.

Gameplay details

We'll be using Discord to speak to one another and also to place notes for everyone to see including loot, important faces, names, and other information. We'll all be using roll20.net as a way to have character sheets, a visual map, tokens for your characters, and a place to roll the dice virtually. I'm willing to help with character creation and generally 27 point buy for ability scores. We'll be using any officially released book from Wizards of the Coast in 5th Edition DND. I mix roleplaying with smart combat. There is always a way to survive, even if it isn't obvious. We'll discuss what is okay and not okay for your group, as well as your expectations. My goal is to help you enjoy your character and build a great story to tell.

How will character creation work

You'll decide and create your character on roll20.net The point buy is 27. Max ability score before racial is 15. You'll use all officially reeased books from Wotc to make your character. Nothing homebrew. If you need help, I am happy to do so.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
