How to prepare

Microphone and Headphones: Clear audio communication is vital for our sessions. Please ensure you have a working microphone and headphones to fully participate in the game. Discord: We will be using Discord for voice chat during our sessions. If you do not already have Discord, please download and install it on your computer. You will be provided with an invite to our dedicated Discord server for game discussions and session scheduling. Roll20: Our game will be hosted on Roll20, a virtual tabletop platform. It allows us to manage character sheets, dice rolls, maps, and more.

What I provide

I am committed to providing you with a comprehensive and immersive experience. To achieve this, I will supply all necessary source books for the campaign, ensuring that everyone has access to the rules, lore, and content needed to create and develop their characters within the campaign. Music is a powerful tool in setting the atmosphere and enhancing the overall gaming experience. I will curate a selection of thematic music to accompany our sessions, creating the perfect ambiance for our campaign. Whether it's the sounds of the trees or the intense beat of a battle theme, the music will transport you right into the heart of the Rime. Visuals play a crucial role in bringing the world to life, and to that end, I will provide high-quality maps and tokens for our campaign. I will either create or use detailed maps to vividly depict the landscapes your heroes traverse and the adversaries you'll face.

Gameplay details

- During session 0 we will go over Lines and Veils document that I send out once you are in discord and we will be using X out cards on Roll 20. - Mostly will follow rules at intended, though rule of cool is applied.

How will character creation work

Your characters will begin their journey at Level 1. You will have the opportunity to create characters from the following races: Elves, Dwarfs, Humans, Gnomes, and Halflings. The diversity of races in our campaign reflects the rich tapestry of alliances and tensions within the world of Eärendur, providing ample opportunities for engaging role-play and unique character narratives. In addition to the standard racial traits, characters can also make use of the "Customizing Your Origin" feature from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. This feature allows for further customization and flexibility, enabling you to fine-tune your character's origin to better suit your envisioned backstory and role within the group. Character creation can take place either before the start of the campaign or during our Session 0. If you prefer to have a clearer understanding of the world and the party dynamics before finalizing your character, the Session 0 option might be ideal for you. This session will also provide an opportunity for us to discuss party balance, character backstories, and how your characters fit into the world of Eärendur.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
