About the adventure

Based on the Necromancer’s Cave from *Princes of the Apocalypse*, I lead you and other kidnapped fledgling adventurers through the cave of an insane necromancer obsessed with… acting? 🎭 Face down the necromancer and his entourage, face down your “understudies”, his “casting director”, his “stage hands” and decide how you want to approach this maniac play director. It’s a game that adapts to your party’s tone and style of play, so play how you want to play, and I’ll do everything I can to adapt to it! (Be it serious and dark, or light-hearted and adventureous)

How to prepare

I find most use from Discord voice calls, with me uploading screenshots of a digital program, which has the battle map on it. We use D&D Beyond, and Discord, so be ready with both accounts!

What I provide

I go with the honor system on dice, so I allow actual dice along with digital, and will show some important rolls myself I’ll be providing pre generated character sheets on D&D Beyond for those who want one, and expect an approved D&D Beyond character sheets from players more comfortable with character creation

Gameplay details

I plan to have you send me a copy of “Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist” with your preferences checked: I don’t plan to do worse than body disfigurement and cliche hostages, but my tone is intended to be more a “haunted house” kind of gross or disturbing.

How will character creation work

Level 1 characters, of standard array or point buy for this game For experienced players, chat with me, to make a character! I’ve got 9 exotic races for you to try! For new or somewhat inexperienced players, I have a dozen pre-generated characters ready in this world with some inspirational backstory you can elaborate on!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
