About the adventure

Pierpointe is the seat of Baron Gravis, lord of the Silver Hills. You have called the Silver Hills your home since you were young, and now you find yourself at a turning point of your adulthood. Four years after the end of the war with the Karakans to the south, Pierpointe is still recovering. While the Kingdom of Radiance won the war and extracted great wealth from plunder, they've lost a generation in the process, and now the streets of Pierpointe seem lonely. With the new wealth seized from the Karakan treasuries there is abundant opportunity in Pierpointe and the Silver Hills. A predominant source of lumber and metals, the Silver Hills' economy has boomed as reconstruction efforts have created great demand for building materials. There are jobs aplenty with few to fill them. You find yourself in Pierpointe with opportunity at every corner and a fire in your soul. Sure, laborers are needed, but so are adventurers to take on those tasks that the Baron's depleted military cannot currently perform. The questions remains, what will you choose to do?

How to prepare

Players are required to have a computer with a reliable internet connection, a mic, camera, and preferably a headset. They should also secure a quiet area to play in. Before the game players will need to install the free versions of Zoom, Fantasy Grounds Unity, and Syrinscape Online.

We have created a social contract together as a group during our Session 0 for the Emergence campaign. It outlines the themes, gameplay, setting, and suitable conduct for the campaign.

How will character creation work

Characters were created during Session 0. New characters are created in the case of character death, and are introduced into the party at the next appropriate story milestone.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
