About the adventure

A festival. A light shining bright, brilliant. A beacon of hope beckoning and desperately calling for the Pallid Elves of Luneraven. All seems well in the annual Eclipse Festival until a group of well seasoned adventurers in need of rest stumble upon the small town. Whatever their expectations were for this small mountainous settlement were about to be vanquished by that brilliant light shining above.

Additional Details

How to prepare

Microphone is all you need. Obviously, it’s helpful to know every dnd rule, but not necessary, for much time will be spent outside of combat. Get acquainted with your out of combat skills and abilities. Make a character in dnd beyond or some other form to share to me, and the session will be performed via Discord and Roll20. Digital dice are a requirement and I must be able to see each dice roll.

What I provide

Since this will be performed digitally, and this is a free story, mind you, I will only be providing the story itself.

Gameplay details

Throughout this session, starting at 5th level, you will encounter many people to speak to, and not many affects outside of the story. I personally enjoy more slow paced stories with less combat focused encounters, trying to engage the players through dialogue instead of treacherous battles, though every combat will count. In addition, not much exploration will be had outside of Luneraven.

How will character creation work

Characters, as previously stated, will be starting at level 5, as you are a somewhat-seasoned adventurer in a group of 2-3 others. These characters will be created in a discord server. I would like a brief idea on what your character will be beforehand, but if a beginner, I do not expect as much, and will assist you with character creation. In addition to that, I will try to get to know your character as best as possible and will be sure to add your character into the storyline as best as possible,

Players can expect

  • Combat/Tactics: Low
  • Roleplay: High
  • Puzzles: Medium
  • Experience Level: Beginner
