About the adventure

The Oracle of War is a level 1-20 campaign where the echoes of a magical cataclysm set the stage for rip-roaring pulp action! Think ‘Indiana Jones in a post-apocalyptic magical wasteland’. Get your backstory ready for a custom experience crafted specifically for you and your party as we venture into the world of Eberron - from the lawless desert outpost of Salvation to the rainy, treacherous streets of City of Daggers - to uncover the secrets of a mysterious artifact and foil a great evil that rises within the Mournland. In this campaign, you will: 🤠 Go to work in the Wild West 🗡️ Kill mutated apocalypse monsters 🗺️ Explore tainted ruins seeping with feral magic ✈️ Fly in an airship 🚂 Rob a train maybe 🤖 Fight robots. Or be robots. Or fight other robots while being a robot. 🧟‍♂️ Try to outsmart necromatic N*zi’s 🏰 Visit fantasy New York in the 1920s 🤵‍♀️ Put on your best outfit for some political intrigue 🐉 Try to decipher an ancient prophesy written by dragons 😡 Rage quit when the DM won’t let you use the Artificer class to play as Batman If this sounds like your cup of grog, come join us. How to prepare

For this campaign, you will need: 1) A PC or Mac running Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Edge with 'hardware acceleration' enabled. 2) A microphone 3) A free Discord account. The link to my Discord server will be sent when you sign up! 4) A free D&D Beyond account. The link to my D&D Beyond 'campaign' will be sent when you sign up! Join it to access all Eberron-specific character options. Be sure to set your character to PUBLIC for import into Foundry. 5) A free account on The Forge: https://forge-vtt.com/ I will send you a link to join our campaign on the Forge on Discord! Suggested: 8GB of RAM, otherwise you may experience glitches in our VTT; won't make the game unplayable, but can be a hassle Requested: A basic understanding of the Eberron setting. Gameplay details

Players can expect to fill out an RPG Consent Checklist before their first session and review our existing Lines and Veils We will take regular mid-session breaks around 1.5-2 hours in. At the end of each game session, we will discuss ‘stars and wishes’: what each player enjoyed about the game and what they would like to see more of.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created in D&D Beyond, starting at Level 1 using Standard Array or Point Buy. Be sure to join my campaign on D&D Beyond to get access to my content!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
