In this game for 3-6, 3rd level, players you will dive into one of Wizards most popular settings, the roaring Magictech continent of Khovaire. Navigate the tense political landscape of the post war period and find your place among the history makers of the world.

How to prepare

Be familiar with the basic mechanics of 5e (Skill Checks, Saving Throws, Combat) Read some basic details about Eberron, but that is not necessary, basic establishing info will be given to the players via roleplay. Provide an image that represents their character which I can attach to their character sheet and make a token from.

Gameplay details

I run a D&D club for Middle School children in my full-time profession, so I'm experienced at running for younger ages. In a digital game, if a player is having issues with whatever is happening in the game I encourage them to message me directly "I'd like to wrap this up" and I will move the story along to the next beat. I always try to break my 3-4 hour One-Shots up into 5 main phases: Hook - The rising action that establishes the story Challenges - The Puzzles, Minor Fights, Exploration, and Social interaction the players must navigate to gain advantages or disadvantages later in the story. The Showdown - The moment when they players leverage everything they have to solve the core conflict Resolution - Players working through the positive and negative results of their actions. I do not use the concept of player death in One-Shots, players who would die during the story instead are defeated and develop some roleplay or mechanical quirk to deal with for the remainder of the One-Shot.

How will character creation work

Players will be invited to the Discord server prior to the game starting. - They will need to create a 5th level character using any officially published wizards content (this includes other setting material). - Ability Scores will be determined with the point buy system - Feats and Multiclassing are allowed - I ignore all lineage restrictions for Feats/Subclasses Once players have developed an outline for their character I will import it into the Roll20 game for them.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
