[Foundry][Live] Mass Effect - Trilogy

About the adventure

From the sprawling halls of the Citadel, to the lawless fringes of the Terminus Systems, the stars will become your playground. You will traverse alien landscapes, encounter iconic species as well as new ones, engage in tactical combat. Forge alliances with and befriend various companions, all of whom have their own stories. The GM will play iconic companions such as Mordin Solus and Garrus Vakarian, giving players a chance to interact with their favorites. Players also have the option of playing one of these characters if they wish, as their player character. As ancient powers awaken and malevolent forces gather, the galaxy teeters on the precipice of destruction. It will fall upon your shoulders to unravel ancient mysteries that threaten the safety of all sentient species. You assume the mantle of a promising recruit, apprenticing under Nihlus Kryik as you prepare to join the esteemed ranks of the Spectres. This is a re-telling of the Mass Effect Trilogy adapted to tabletop roleplay. The player characters will, as a group, take the place of protagonist. 🔹 A live text game means splitting the party isn't an issue; the GM can focus on many scenes 🔹 Perfect for people who prefer text to voice 🔹 If you want to use your voice, you can do so by sending an audio file This game is DMed by Enigma, a mute dungeon master. This is a live-text campaign. What this means is, narration will take place entirely via text. This means that some things may take longer, but players will have more time to think over their characters' actions and dialogue. For combat, exploration, and dice rolls, FoundryVTT will be used. This allows for a multitude of possibilities. Splitting the party isn't a problem as the DM can focus on multiple scenes, and roleplay scenes will be deeper and more thorough.

How to prepare

I can assist you before the game to get you started with anything you need. No download or login necessary. Once you sign up, message me. I will link you to the Discord (you can also find it below). From there, we can get you prepared. The game itself will start once everyone is ready (you will not be charged until we begin).

What I provide

This is not a static world, and the echoes of the party's choices will be seen. 🔹 Giving characters boons and magic items and scaling up monsters to make combat engaging and challenging. Monsters will not hold back, but the GM will root for your success. 🔹 Creating NPCs with motivations and personalities, who may help or hinder the player characters. Gameplay details

🏳️‍🌈♾️👨🏾‍🦲 This is a safe table for people of all types. Dreams is trans and queer, Enigma is LGBTQIA+, and we are both neurodivergent. We hope to make a place where all can feel accepted, regardless of race, gender, beliefs. 👨🏾‍🦲♾️🏳️‍🌈 This is a live text game. Synchronous live text is a way of playing roleplaying games online that uses text-based communication instead of voice. You connect with other players and the game master through a messaging platform or app, and use the software's text-based features to interact with each other and the game world. You describe your character's actions, thoughts, and dialogue through text, while the GM can provide descriptions of the environment, non-player characters (NPCs), and other important elements of the story. FoundryVTT will also include visual aids such as maps, tokens, and images. This type of gameplay can be a fun and flexible way to participate in roleplaying games, especially for those who prefer text-based communication or who are unable to use voice chat. Combat will move smoothly thanks to add-ons, and what FoundryVTT has to offer will add to immersion. Safety tools will always be in effect; this game is a safe and inclusive place. We will use safety cards, Monte-Cooke consent form, lines and veils, and any other safety tools the group needs. Both Enigma and Dreams are neurodiverse and LGBTQIA+, and seek to provide a safe table for all players. Accessibility is a big part of the game, and accommodations will be made to meet your needs so that you can have fun. How will character creation work

Once registered on the N7 World/Mass Effect 5E site, you can make a character using the character creator: https://www.n7.world/characters Step by Step: https://www.n7.world/manual/character-creation ✅ Level 3 start. ✅ For determining ability scores, you get to start with the following array: 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 10 ✅ You have 35,000 credits with which to buy gear, which you can find in the sheet and the handbook. I will allow most content from Mass Effect 5E.
