About the adventure

Normally adventurers go into dungeons for a short time, steal some loot, and leave with haste. But this adventure is a bit different. You're a special kind of adventurer, a dungeoneer. You're actually most at home in a dark, dank dungeon. You get along commendably with monsters and minions alike. And somehow you've gained employment under a dungeon-boss as one of their lieutenants. Your skills are in high demand. Pesky adventurers are always trying to delve into your dungeon, steal your loot, and take it away. It's up to you and your party to protect it, or else the boss is going to have to... "fire" you. You'll love this adventure if you enjoy dungeon delving, settlement building, and monstrous species. It's main feature is the party's shared occupation as mini-bosses within a dungeon. You'll defend your dungeon home against waves of adventuring invaders. You'll conduct raids against local camps, cities, and even other dungeons to acquire the materials you need to fortify and upgrade your base. You'll grow your own faction within your dungeon's ecology. Perhaps you will betray the boss and take over the dungeon for yourself, or strike out and claim your own. This adventure is an asynchronous play-by-post campaign, meaning it is text-based and proceeds via messages whenever anyone is available to respond. Your game master will post to the game channel 5-6 days a week.

How will character creation work

1️⃣ Create a character using the custom setting character guide (provided after booking) 2️⃣ Build a D&D Beyond character sheet and send it to your game master 4️⃣ You are encouraged to play a Monstrous Species (such as Bubgbear, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Kobold, Orc, etc.) in this adventure. Otherwise you will need to contrive a reason why your non-Monstrous character wants to work in a dungeon with mostly Monstrous species. 5️⃣ You are encouraged to choose character creation options from the following sourcebooks (full list of banned and allowed content provided after booking): • Player's Handbook • Xanathar's Guide to Everything • Monsters of the Multiverse • Fitzban's Treasury of Dragons
