    About the adventure

Let's celebrate your special day together! We will learn how to play (if required) and experience the thrills of a fun D&D tale. This session may use pregenerated characters (great for new players), or allow time for partygoers to create their own characters (recommended for experienced players). We will also enjoy sound effects and art created for the story. These are provided via Syrinscape, experts in ambient effects for tabletop RPGs. This adventure is about a party gone horribly wrong, and the heroes have to step in to make everything right. Themes will be appropriate to the ages of the partygoers and their comfort levels.

    Additional Details

    How to prepare

Players should download all applicable software and have accounts for Zoom, They should bookmark Owlbear Rodeo ( http://owlbear.rodeo/ ) for use during the game. Players will need to have a camera and mic available and turned on throughout the session. Players might want to keep snacks and a drink nearby (frequent breaks will be provided, and players can ask for breaks too). While players don’t need to have extensive knowledge of the game, it helps to be somewhat familiar with Zoom, as well as with gaming safety tools.

    What I provide

I will provide access to the following: * Digital character resources via D&D Beyond (paid for by DM) * Zoom professional chat with heightened security (paid for by DM) * A gift (if appropriate)

    Gameplay details

Gameplay is largely dictated by players. Aspects such as social and exploration play can be expanded or contracted as players desire. Combat is ran in a deadly style with opponents that care to survive. Cunning and negotiation, when utilized, will be helpful. Length of the session can be tailored to the duration of your party, as well as the age of the participants. (Zoom can be tough for kids to focus on for too long.) I can run this game in a standard or AL-legal style, as players desire.

    How will character creation work

There are two options, chosen at the time of booking: - Attendees use characters already created for them (better for new players, or getting right into the action). - Attendees create their own characters on the spot (great for experienced players who don't mind losing some time on the gameplay).

    Players can expect

    • Combat/Tactics: Low
    • Roleplay: High
    • Puzzles: Medium
    • Experience Level: Open to all
