About the adventure
This is for those continuing on from Spring 2021. Price includes the slight price increase discussed in summer and the discount for being continuing players. These 2-hour sessions are made to be enjoyable and help students unwind from the hectic pace that traditional school can impart at times. These fun, laid-back games are designed to further player knowledge and experience with D&D while also helping them learn valuable life skills like problem solving, critical thinking, appropriate social interactions, and reinforcing math and literacy skills. Yes, it's still plain old D&D, but without knowing it, the game does in fact teach all of these skills. Any student who has taken my Intro to D&D for Kids class can then carry over their character and play in these sessions. I have kept them at 2 hours because that has worked in the past regarding attention spans. Plus, it gives parents a few hours to recharge while the kids play and are engaged in the game. This is based on the streamlined Dungeons & Dragons 5e rules that I use in the Intro to D&D for Kids. Over time, we will begin to add layers of complexity until we are playing the full 5e ruleset. When we achieve that

Additional Details
How to prepare
Clear their minds of distraction. Look over their character and any notes or maps we have from previous games. Be ready to play as their characters.
What I provide
Everything we need, an abundance of patience, interesting stories, and a love for the hobby.
Gameplay details
It's a couple hours of fun and adventure with an ongoing group and an ongoing storyline. Usually there will be a mix of puzzles, exploration, social and combat. It's like regular D&D but with my streamlined rules for kids. Over time as the characters level up, so will the players and we'll add in the things I streamlined out until we're playing full on 5e D&D.
