About the adventure

Jays Table Presents, The Freewater, a bridge on which commerce of the known world travels betwixt one empire to another. It is here mortals make their fortunes among the merchant giants and the dreadful sea. Here legends both of this world and the world beyond are crafted through rumor and deed. Among these ancient islands, untamed jungles, and pirate-infested waters, the world's hidden secrets lay dormant. Tis your time now, your adventure, your legend to be told. What will you find in these waters? Absolution from a dark past? Or will it be fortune among the trade and commerce? Will you become lost to the dark secrets of the world? Or will you forge an empire of your own? Come, join us at Jays Table and strike out a legend of your own, one to be told time and time over. How to prepare

We will be using FoundryVTT for gameplay, and discord for voice and communication centered around the campaign! What I provide

FoundryVTT server with all the bells and whistles. It's encouraged players find a token image of their character so that a Token may be made for them! Jay recommends Pinterest! Jay makes maps, designs encounters, crafts NPC's, and builds sessions as if he was writing the adventure as a published module. Content is tasteful, well thought out, and tailored to the party.

Gameplay details

The Freewater is an Age of Sail campaign setting written to depict a believable portrayal of sailing a ship and managing a crew whether that be pirates, military, or merchant. Sailing ships of that age, although captained by an individual, where led by a crew of officers. I hope to instill this sense of companionship and teamwork in my players, and give them the opportunity to truly experience the sailors life in a D&D setting, while hitting all the switches and levers required for a great, long lasting, Dungeons & Dragons campaign!

How will character creation work

Character creation rules are outlined in detail on the FoundryVTT table. - Roll Ability Scores - Classes & Races Allowed: PHB, XGE, VGM, TCE - Very few racial restrictions. - Jay is always available to help with the process! - Backgrounds encouraged!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
