About the adventure

Maybe it's your first time creating a character and you need an expert to walk you through the process. Or maybe you've made a few characters but want to go more in depth conceptually, narratively, and mechanically with your next PC. Either way book a session with me and I will walk you through character creation from the concept stages all the way to a finished character sheet! Then, I will run you through a short one-shot to put your new character to the test.

How to prepare

You will need a mic. face cam is optional, but preferred. What I provide

I will bring dice and a notepad. I have all of DnD sourcebooks we need to create characters, plus years of homebrew experience so we can custom make whatever your character needs!

Gameplay details

Players can expect a fast-paced and rules-light game. I say rules light, but we will bounce between theater of the mind and grid based combat depending on the complexity of the situation. For example, dungeon exploration and large combats will happen on a grid using AboveVTT while most other situations will be done simply by verbal description. Content notice: explicit language, gore and violence, perils including imprisonment and torture although torture will only be implied and not graphically described. Safeties: Harassment or prejudiced (racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic) behavior will not be tolerated in this game.

How will character creation work

We will use whatever method you prefer. We can use Roll20, DnD Beyond, Fantasy Grounds, or classic pen and paper. The process is largely the same across the board, so whatever floats your boat.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
