How to prepare

Buying Talespire for yourself is strongly preferred for this session's map, it is layered with rooms in a way that would make it difficult for me to GM and stream my screen without revealing secrets, however I do offer any players who already own TaleSpire $10 off their first session with me. Another player who has TaleSpire can stream to players who don't. Once you schedule a session I will send you an invite through discord - we will use this for voice chat so you will need a mic. What I provide

A very detailed build of the Veiled Vaults of the Onyx Queen module for DCC built in TaleSpire, the core rulebook, and any handouts or PDFs needed to quickly reference rules.

Gameplay details

This is a 0-level Funnel Dungeon, don't get too attached to your characters quite yet! The point of this is to kill off many of the characters entering the dungeon, even a TPK isn't out of the question (But we'll be sure to replenish and finish the adventure one way or another). These peasants may not have high stat rolls, but fear not as sometimes the weakest of characters can become the most endearing, speaking from experience. DCC is not a game where Min/Maxing is intentional, randomness is exciting! SAFETY: Expect moderate levels of violence, NPCs in distress, descriptions of gore, etc. at the start of the game we will go over lines and veils, lines being things that have no business appearing in a game meant to be fun and engaging and veils being things that can be hinted at but not focused on, like pulling the curtains over a scene. If at any time you as the player feel uncomfortable you can send me a message during the game and will discontinue any further reference to the subject. Most of my games will contain adult language (R) and I will allow it from players as long as it is purely for fun or used for expression in character - I expect my players to be kind and courteous towards each other always. Name calling, and major PC betrayals are hard lines for my games. The stealing from eachother in character can be fun and fine when done sparingly, but I draw the line at killing fellow PC's for any reason. Otherwise murder hobos are okay in my books as well.

How will character creation work

4 Level-0 Characters will be randomly generated for you, you will use the assigned generated characters together and may get more as the game progresses. Before the game starts I will have character miniatures in game with stats already assigned for ease of reference in game.
