About the adventure

The Dread Pirate Captain Radu, legendary terror of the Seven Skies and admiral of the Brethren of the Skulls, is missing. Ilwuz has just declared an open Congress to elect a temporary admiral in Radu's absence. This is a huge opportunity for Captain Gaspar to seize power, control and wealth. And when the boss gets power, control and wealth, so does his crew, and that just happens to be you. The Congress is scheduled six days from now, and you've got the Sky of Thunder, a giant perpetual hurricane full of lighting and monsters that covers a sixth of the world, between you and the pirate cloud-island. There's also a pursuing heroic pirate hunter on your tail, a kidnapped prince running around the deck, and Captain Gaspar is down with the flu. And not one of those dangers compares to the chaos of the Ilwuzi Congress waiting on the other end.

How to prepare

Players will need a mic, Discord, Roll20, and a zest for fantastic piratical shenanigans. Roll20 will be used for a key mechanic, but Discord is the primary communications node.

Gameplay details

A high action, over the top romp through some of the World of Swashbucklers of the Seven Skies, culminating in the madness of pirate politics. Light rules, cinematic style, and flamboyant characters make a wild ride! The game can range in tone a fair bit, so be up front about whether you want rum soaked blaggarts, or a band of sky-faring Robin Hoods. Across the spectrum, the violence will be suspiciously clean and ungory. We'll have the X card on hand just in case. Content Warning: mild violence, alcohol, smoking, and politics.

How will character creation work

I'll have a handful of pre-generated characters at the ready, which players can change up before we get going. Players familiar with S7S, or PDQ more broadly, can make up their own characters. We can even spend a little time at the start walking through character creation for those who want to see it in action. It's rules light and simple to fit into the one shot.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
