About the adventure

The Kingdom of Dreymore is set in a semi-homebrew world that I call the Eternal Lands. This kingdom is loosely based on the Kingdom of Cormyr in Faerun of Forgotten Realms. This will be a sandbox style game where players are free to explore the realm and choose what adventures to go on, and which to ignore. Although, ignoring important events could have long term consequences. In other words this will be a living world in which you can explore, have an impact, and have fun! I call this a semi-homebrew campaign because, like the Kingdom itself, I will "borrow/ take inspiration from" various published sources. However, I don't want to be boxed in to the strict lore or text of any source. So, I will add or take away things that make the story fit into our world more easily, or that just makes them more interesting. It also allows me to customize the world to fit the story of the characters, which is my ultimate goal, to not just let the party experience the story, but to make the story about the party. Some of the sources of "inspiration" for the adventures will be Tales from the Yawning Portal, Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Dungeon Delve, Explorers guide to Wildmount, and some randomness from the DM's guild and other sources. So, let me know what published sources you have already been through so I don't put those adventure hooks into the world. How to prepare

Players will need a microphone for voice chat, a PC, laptop, or Mac to run fantasy grounds, and an internet connection capable of running these programs effectively.

What I provide

I will provide the fantasy grounds subscription, syrinscape subscription, and all materials needed for the game. Players may have to download certain programs, but all paid material will be handled by me.

Gameplay details

I will try and have a balanced game between the three pillars of DnD (Role play, exploration, and combat). If there is a style that you prefer, or prefer to avoid, please let me know and I can customize it a bit for you.

How will character creation work

We will have a session 0 where we can discuss character creation. Characters can be made directly in Fantasy Grounds or they can be made on DnD Beyond and I can import those characters into the game. I have a form on my Discord Channel (you will be sent the link when you join) that details how to create a character.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
