About the adventure

Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon named Cryovein has descended upon the mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. The dragon patrols the skies around Icespire Peak, surveying its territory while hunting for food and easy treasure. With each passing day, the dragon's domain grows as it ranges farther across the land, preying on anything it can catch with its claws or freeze to death with its icy breath. This initial adventure summary is just the start of an exciting adventure that will take characters from 1st to 6th level as players seek out allies and weapons to arm themselves against the mighty dragon! This campaign will take characters up to 12th level over the course of four adventures. In this (first) adventure, you will: - Fight dragons! - Thwart an evil cult's plans! - Explore ancient tombs and recover amazing artifacts! - Become a legend!

Gameplay details

The first session for new players will be a Session 0 to discuss character creation, what the players want their characters to accomplish during the campaign (goals, inclusions of backstory elements, etc.), any potential triggers, and any questions that players may have about the game. I always start each session with time to chat and discuss the game, I give planned breaks halfway through the session, and I offer a debrief where players can give input and process any character bleed and (if necessary) aftercare.

How will character creation work

Characters will start at 3rd level or (if needed) be leveled up to the party's current average level. Players can make their own characters and I'll walk through using Roll20's built-in Charactermancer. For those that wish to create their own characters, we'll be using standard array or the 4d6 roll method for stats.
