About the adventure

Come one come all to the aid of the town of Phandalin, the town now reclaimed near the city Neverwinter. Here you can find a fine selection of people trying to make a prosperous new start of a one destroyed small town near the mountains of Icespire Peak. Adventurers have been called to help aid the town in its defence from the threat of a young white dragon known as Cryovain that has recently moved into the area. Expect action, some tense moments and a perfect beginning to the world of D&D 5e. This campaign is designed for level one characters to begin and work their way up to level six at its pinnicle and is perfect for both first time players and those wishing to get back into D&D The Campaign can be run either with the theatre of mind or through an online tabletop format within Roll20.

How to prepare

A pen/pencil and a notebook or a word document for note taking is always advised, a microphone for communication, a Discord account, A roll 20 account if needed and a D&D beyond account all of which are free to set up and will have no cost needed to be used.

What I provide

The campaign book, setting, maps, extra materials for things players can do such as hunting for food or gathering herbs to help with potions for example. A very comfortable knowledge of 5e and the setting and how this campaign will unfold as well as pointers and discussions to help new players learn mechanics, roleplay context and clues as well as an eveloping storyline.

Gameplay details

The luxon technique will be applied here, A pre session info discussion will happened before every session with potential and possible moments that can cause distress and at the end of everysession a group discussion will occur to make sure if any aftercare is needed that it will be given. Whilst the aim of D&D is to be a game its more than understandable for a player to be drawn into the storyline and get emotional drain or backlash from the enviroment/actions taken throughout a campaign. Be assured that all safety measure and check in's will be applied, monitored and an open door policy will be set from the start. If any players are found to be causing issues with any of these safety measures they will be addressed and dealt with accordingly to StartPlaying protocols.

How will character creation work

Characters will be created Via D&D beyond with campaign sharing tools brought in via myself so that the player's dont have to spend any income to start the game. If I do not own content that the players wish to use we can have a discussion about this and I will look into investing into the requested modules.
