Dragon of Icespire Peak

About the adventure

Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon named Cryovain has descended upon the Sword Mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. Typical of its kind, Cryovain is dim-witted and cruel. The dragon patrols the skies around Icespire Peak, surveying its territory while hunting for food and easy treasure. With each passing day, the dragon’s domain grows as it ranges farther across the land, preying on anything it can catch with its claws or freeze to death with its icy breath. Sightings of the dragon are becoming more common, as are its attacks.

How to prepare

Once the game starts, I can share the owlbear.rodeo link to any maps that need to be displayed. It's a free online resource, a very low-complexity virtual table top. Mic required, and Discord with the Avrae bot along with D&D Beyond will be the core technologies of the game. Syrinscape Online Player will add another level to your experience, I highly recommend it.

How will character creation work

Characters should be 5th level. I have numerous pre-generated characters that you can choose from and tweak as far as personality, background, ideals, bonds, flaws...make the character your own! My pre-generated characters are available on D&D Beyond and will be made accessible once you join the game and request access to them. If you choose to create your own character on D&D Beyond, be sure to use the following guidelines: On the Home page, be sure that the following options are enabled: * only the Homebrew content (No Playtest, Critical Role, Rick & Morty, etc. content, for example) slider is on. * digital dice rolling * Optional Class Features * Milestone XP * Manual HP * Feats and Multiclass Prerequisites * Use Encumbrance * Public character privacy On the Class page, activate the Optional Feature Manager. On the Abilities page, you can use the following array: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 There will be some starting magic items offered if you make your own character, as well as some starting wealth. As an incentive, the Pre-Generated characters have better starting items.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
