How to prepare

Download Fantasy Grounds CLASSIC (not UNITY, which is different) - the free demo version - here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/FantasyGroundsClassic.php When you sign up, I'll send you a Discord link; follow it to my Dragon Heist channel. We'll use the voice channel there during play, and the text channel for chat between sessions (plans and plots, scheduling, rules questions, etc.) You'll need a microphone. For the first session, you MUST show up at least 15 minutes early, or by appointment during the week before, to troubleshoot technical problems and load modules.

Gameplay details

This is a beginner-friendly, all-ages, and inclusive table. We're all here to have fun, and that means respecting one another - keeping content age-appropriate if children are playing, showing up on time and prepared, allowing everyone their time in the spotlight. A typed or spoken "X", by anyone, is a signal that the game is wandering into uncomfortable territory. On an "X", we'll take an immediate 5 minute break and redirect what's happening as needed.

How will character creation work

I'll provide a link to my D&D Beyond campaign, which gives you access to all the standard content plus Tasha's, Xanathar's, and Volo's. You can create your level 1 character there, and I'll import it into Fantasy Grounds. You can also create your character directly in Fantasy Grounds, with my help, by appointment. Or, request a prebuilt character and one will be provided. We have new character options from the Midgard Heroes Handbook, Southland Heroes, and Deep Magic, all published by Kobold Press. These are not implemented in Beyond, but can be accessed in Fantasy Grounds.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
