About the adventure

You are tasked with investigating a wizard tower that mysteriously disappeared from the Material Plane. Your exploration will reveal the forbidden secrets three scholars discovered and what fates befell them. This ONE-SHOT adventure released for by Wizards of the Coast contains a 3 hour adventure for level 20 player characters. For fans of Stranger Things, certain aspects of this adventure may be familiar :). The adventure has been fully formatted for the FOUNDRY VTT experience and includes battlemaps, music, and encounters to be enjoyed. This One shot is suitable for players of intermediate level, and there are no restrictions to character creation.

How to prepare

A webcam is not needed, although a microphone is required. How will character creation work

Character creation will be held just before the session starts. They will need to be created on the D&D Beyond website in order for proper integration into the Foundry VTT. The adventure will be at level 20 and we’ll be using Point Buy stats. Homebrew/Unearthed Arcana is generally allowed, although needs to be run by the DM first. MAGIC ITEMS Each character can choose - 6 uncommon magic items - 3 rare magic items - 3 Very Rare Magic Items and either 1 Legendary Item, OR 1 roll on the CR 17-20 Rewards table on the DMG magic items can be traded between characters. +1, +2, +3 magic items are considered Uncommon, Rare and Vary Rare respectively
