About the adventure

A wickedly whimsical adventure for beginners and veterans alike!! I have ran this multiple times, and have all the DNDBeyond and Roll20 materials ready to run a game. You can also see a sample of what kind of DMing I will bring to the table as we ran this campaign on stream, found on my Youtube channel. (@BardicDice) Once every eight years, the fantastic Witchlight Carnival touches down on your world, bringing joy to one settlement after the next. Its owners, Mister Witch and Mister Light, know how to put on a good show. But there’s more to this magical extravaganza than meets the eye! The carnival is a gateway to a fantastic Feywild domain unlike anything found on the Material Plane. Time has not been kind to this realm, however, and dark days lie ahead unless someone can thwart the dastardly schemes of the Hourglass Coven. The Wild Beyond the Witchlight takes adventurers from the Witchlight Carnival to Prismeer, a Feywild domain of delight, and is designed for characters of levels 1–8. This book comes with a poster map that shows the carnival on one side and Prismeer on the other.

How to prepare

Somewhat decent internet, access to Roll20.net, DND Beyond (or your own personal character sheet), Chrome Extension (Beyond20) if you want DND Beyond to roll in Roll20, Mic, Webcam if desired (not required). Does not need to know rules ahead of time, willing to teach while playing.

Will have characters, voices, music, maps, story ready to go! Bring yourself and a positive attitude!

Gameplay details

You will be invited to a discord to help arrange ideas for characters and for use for audio for the game. Access to DNDBeyond campaign with a free account. Access to Roll20 Token Maps with a free account. We will have a session 0 to go over characters, learn expectation from what type of game everyone is expecting. Go over any possible triggers/content warnings in the game and any other safety tools to allow you to join the table and feel safety. An official break will be halfway through, though open door people can take breaks as needed. Debriefing and going over what you liked and what you wished would happen in game, will be discussed at the end of each session.

How will character creation work

Will have premade characters to provide if wanted. Session 0 will allow players to create a party build together. Standard Array or Roll for stats if the whole party desires. All books allowed.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
