About the adventure

Ever wanted to play the Radiant Citadel adventures with a Rule of Cool DM who values storytelling, fun and friendship above much else? I think you've come to the right place! Here is an excerpt from the source material about what the Radiant Citadel is! "Against the unending mist and unseen terrors of the Ethereal Plane, the Radiant Citadel stands bright as a bastion of hope. It’s a living relic of the ingenuity and collaboration of twenty-seven great civilizations. Abandoned and lost for ages, the Citadel was resurrected from its slumber and reclaimed by descendants of those societies, though some peoples remain missing. The city serves as a nexus of diplomacy and trade, a repository of histories and secrets, and a thriving sanctuary for those seeking safety or a better life. The Radiant Citadel is a miracle of architecture, a floating city carved out of a single, massive fossil that snakes around a colossal gemstone shard known as the Auroral Diamond. The luminescence of the Auroral Diamond is mirrored in the constellation of fifteen structure-sized gemstones, the Concord Jewels, which orbit the city and provide transportation to the far-flung homes of the Citadel’s founding civilizations. In the haze of the Ethereal Plane, the Auroral Diamond is a scintillating beacon visible from leagues away. The diamond itself seems to have moods, changing colors unpredictably, but it is always visible for wanderers lost and in need. How to prepare

You will need a microphone and headphones, as well as a quiet place for during game time. You do not need to pre-generate a character before joining unless you particularly wish to. Havign a very rudimentary idea of the rules of DnD 5e is preferable but I am allfor helping newbies into the hobby so this is not compulsory! You will need access to Discord, DnDBeyond and Roll20.

What I provide

I bring an extensive library on DnD Beyond and Roll20 for you to use in creation of your characters. I also bring bucketloads of enthusiasm, and while I cannot do accents I like to think I make up for it in other ways!

Gameplay details

There will be a Lines and Veils survey to fill out before Session 0 - the responses are anonymous, so I can see what was said about triggers but not who said that! Similarly, after each session I will encourage players to fill out a Stars and Wishes form in the Discord server, so you can tell me what you're enjoying, and what you want more of! XNO cards can be played on the VTT on Roll20 by anyone including the DM. All gameplay will be done on Roll20, with use of DnDBeyond for mor comprehensive character sheets. I do allow the rolling of real life dice rather than digital ones as I trust my players! Please do not abuse this, if I suspect someone is fudging rolls I will take way this priviledge.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will happen on DnDBeyond. They will be level 3 to begin with, and I have a LOT of info on character creation on the Discord server, to help players to make informed choices about their characters origins! I am more than happy to engage with players during this process to aid them or to just have some input on your characters. If you are experienced you are free to just create your own character if this is what you wanna do. I also do encourage at lest one out of character text chat with myself in private about your character and I also hope you'll be active on the Discord server with your fellow players to work out what to create! Characters cannot be evil aligned, point buy 27 points or standard array only, no rolling for stats, and we'll workshop how your character got their first couple of levels. Finally, this adventure is firmly based on the Radiant Citadel, so your character must be from the citadel itself, or alternatively one of the connected cultures. I will aid you to sensitively create your character, and have a little website to aid you in picking an origin!

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
