DND 101- A 3rd level introduction to the world of DND

About the adventure

A basic intro to Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition using dndbeyond, AboveVTT, and discord. You may of course roll using physical dice but please just be cool about it. If people start lying about their rolls then that ruins it for everyone. In this oneshot you will learn how to create a character and read character sheets, how to use that character in classic turn-based combat, and of course the basic mechanics of roleplay as well as how rolling the dice affects this. This oneshot is open to beginners and veterans alike but please remember that some people are just starting and need the extra help.

How to prepare

All you need is a mic the rest is taken care of on each tabletop. We will go over rules as we go and characters can either be made before the session or during session 0 if you need help.

What I provide

I'll be bringing my dice, basic book set, and some extra character creation options in dndbeyond.

Gameplay details

A brief Session 0 will take place before the session begins. For my newer players that just means we will go over anything you're not comfortable with being mentioned and get to know eachother a bit. Any triggers will be fully avoided. If you are uncomfortable please message me privately no judgement we will move on. Stars and wishes after sessions as well :)

How will character creation work

Characters will be made on dndbeyond under my specific campaign link. If you need help I am almost always available. Characters will be level 3 with basic starting equipment

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
