DMJarpo Presents: Eaves of Mirkwood - An Adventures in Middle-earth One-Shot!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e, Middle Earth Role Playing on Roll20
About the adventure
Hey Tolkien nerds and Lord of the Rings fans! What happens when you mix D&D 5e with Middle-earth? That's right! Adventures in the Middle-earth, the official ruleset by Cubicle 7 that adapts 5e with homebrew classes, races, and rules that reflect the gritty and fantastical world that Tolkien created. This is an official one-shot adventure developed by Cubicle 7 to introduce you to the ruleset and to experience the many beauties that Middle-earth has to offer. My style of play is quite similar to Matt Mercer's delivery: Silly voices, descriptive narration in and out of combat, and atmospheric music to pepper your story with unforgettable moments! -------------------------------------------- Five years have passed since the events of The Hobbit - the dragon Smaug? Dead, slain by Bard the Bowman, now King Bard of Dale. People all across Wilderland, or Rhovanion, the region of Middle-earth east of the Misty Mountains and north of Gondor, are finding new hope for the future. And yet, there are whispers of shadows lurking deep in the dark places of the world. There's been a proclamation issued by King Bard - in order to rebuild and make safe the land once more, he needs the aid from as many free folk as possible.

This game is rated PG-13 for graphic descriptions and stronger language; it contains the following themes: • Low Fantasy • Gritty • Supernatural • Humorous • Historical Fantasy The following safety tools are available during play: • X-Card - A tool that allows anyone to edit out any content anyone is uncomfortable with as we play. Since most RPGs are improvisational and we won't know what will happen till it happens, it's possible the game will go in a direction people don't want. An X-Card is a simple tool to fix problems as they arise. • Open and Inclusive Conversation - While the X-Card is useful, it is not a replacement for conversation. If you prefer to talk about an issue that comes up instead of using the X-Card, please do!
