About the adventure
Words of your adventures have spread to nearby towns, one of them, Graypost. It’s a secluded town in the middle of the Dead Forest surrounded by dense trees and thick fog. The Mayor calls you for aid because more and more residents have disappeared. Are they still alive? What made them vanish? Will you be the next one to never be heard from again? This one-shot D&D 5e game involves mystery, light horror, and epic battles. This one-shot is accessible to new and veteran players alike. PCs will be level 3, all official classes are permitted, and races in the Players Handbook are permitted. I will send a google doc with the restrictions beforehand for you to make a PC. There will be plenty of story, RP moments, and encounters.

How to prepare
Players will need a mic, a DND Beyond account, and a Discord account. No software or purchase will be needed. Multiple monitors are a plus but not needed (to have your PC sheet up, the virtual tabletop, and discord up). Knowledge of the 5e rules is a plus but not needed as I am patient and helpful to new players.
What I provide
I will bring most expansions books for D&D for players to use to make PC on DND Beyond, detailed maps for encounters, and music to set the mood and hype up the players in battle.
Gameplay details
I have a "Rule of Cool" and a "No, but" Dm style. I am open to player suggestions and work with the party to make the best possible story for all involved. There is plenty of opportunity for players to RP as well as encounters.

How will character creation work
Players will make a level 3 PC using DND Beyond using standard array or point buy and add them to a campaign I have made on the site before the game starts.
