    About the adventure

    This adventure is worrisome to talk about. How do you tell players that they will š—“š—¼ š˜š—¼ š—›š—²š—¹š—¹ and make it sound okay? "Your characters are going down to Avernus. I hope they avoid the River Styx. They will return to their world as heroes. It'll be okay! I think.... I hope." You see, what happened was, a bad person (literally a politician) made a terrible deal, and now his whole town is being drug downward. Well, this campaign needs a handful of adventures to rough up the deal makers and get the whole town put back where it was. Easy Peasy. It will only take a few months, a lot of luck, and a little sanity. š—¬š—¼š˜‚ š˜€š—µš—¼š˜‚š—¹š—± š—°š—¼š—ŗš—² š˜š—暝˜† š˜š—µš—¶š˜€ š—°š—®š—ŗš—½š—®š—¶š—“š—» š—¶š—³ š˜†š—¼š˜‚ š—¹š—¶š—øš—²: * š˜Šš˜°š˜š˜°š˜³š˜§š˜¶š˜, š˜„š˜¦š˜µš˜¢š˜Ŗš˜š˜¦š˜„ š˜®š˜¢š˜±š˜“ š˜µš˜©š˜¢š˜µ š˜¢š˜³š˜¦ š˜“š˜š˜Ŗš˜Øš˜©š˜µš˜š˜ŗ š˜Øš˜³š˜¶š˜¦š˜“š˜°š˜®š˜¦ * š˜“š˜Ŗš˜“š˜µš˜¦š˜Æš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜µš˜° š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜‹š˜” š˜¶š˜“š˜¦ š˜¢š˜“ š˜®š˜¢š˜Æš˜ŗ š˜Øš˜³š˜Ŗš˜“š˜š˜ŗ š˜·š˜°š˜Ŗš˜¤š˜¦š˜“ š˜¢š˜“ š˜©š˜¦ š˜¤š˜¢š˜Æ š˜µš˜° š˜µš˜¦š˜š˜ š˜¢ š˜“š˜µš˜°š˜³š˜ŗ, š˜£š˜¶š˜µ š˜“š˜µš˜³š˜¶š˜Øš˜Øš˜š˜¦ š˜µš˜° š˜µš˜¢š˜š˜¬ š˜Æš˜°š˜³š˜®š˜¢š˜ š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜³š˜¦š˜“š˜µ š˜°š˜§ š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜„š˜¢š˜ŗ * š˜š˜Æš˜µš˜¦š˜³š˜¢š˜¤š˜µš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜øš˜Ŗš˜µš˜© š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜®š˜¢š˜±š˜“, š˜µš˜°š˜¬š˜¦š˜Æš˜“ š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜±š˜¶š˜»š˜»š˜š˜¦š˜“ * š˜šš˜°š˜š˜·š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜±š˜¶š˜»š˜»š˜š˜¦š˜“ š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜„š˜¦š˜§š˜¦š˜¢š˜µš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜„š˜¦š˜·š˜Ŗš˜š˜“, š˜„š˜¦š˜®š˜°š˜Æš˜“, š˜¢š˜£š˜°š˜®š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜¢š˜µš˜Ŗš˜°š˜Æš˜“, š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜©š˜¢š˜š˜§š˜š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Øš˜“ š˜Æš˜¢š˜®š˜¦š˜„ š˜‰š˜°š˜£ * š˜Žš˜¦š˜µš˜µš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜µš˜³š˜¦š˜¢š˜“š˜¶š˜³š˜¦ * š˜™š˜°š˜š˜¦š˜±š˜š˜¢š˜ŗš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜µš˜¢š˜š˜¬š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜µš˜° š˜°š˜µš˜©š˜¦š˜³š˜“ * š˜”š˜¢š˜¬š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜¤š˜©š˜¢š˜³š˜¢š˜¤š˜µš˜¦š˜³š˜“ š˜øš˜©š˜° š˜øš˜¦ š˜µš˜©š˜°š˜¶š˜Øš˜©š˜µ š˜øš˜¦š˜³š˜¦ š˜Øš˜°š˜°š˜„ š˜£š˜¶š˜µ š˜øš˜©š˜¦š˜Æ š˜°š˜§š˜§š˜¦š˜³š˜¦š˜„ š˜¢ š˜¤š˜©š˜¢š˜Æš˜¤š˜¦ š˜¢š˜µ š˜¢ š˜·š˜°š˜³š˜±š˜¢š˜ š˜“š˜øš˜°š˜³š˜„ š˜øš˜°š˜¶š˜š˜„ š˜“š˜¦š˜š˜ š˜µš˜©š˜¦š˜Ŗš˜³ š˜„š˜°š˜Ø š˜µš˜° š˜¢ š˜±š˜³š˜¦š˜ŗš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜®š˜¢š˜Æš˜µš˜Ŗš˜“ š˜§š˜¢š˜³š˜® š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜øš˜°š˜¶š˜š˜„ š˜Æš˜¢š˜®š˜¦ š˜µš˜©š˜¦š˜Ŗš˜³ š˜Æš˜¦š˜ø š˜“š˜øš˜°š˜³š˜„ š˜¢š˜§š˜µš˜¦š˜³ š˜µš˜©š˜¦š˜Ŗš˜³ š˜„š˜°š˜Ø š˜Ŗš˜Æ š˜®š˜¦š˜®š˜°š˜³š˜ŗ š˜°š˜§ š˜Ŗš˜µ š˜¬š˜Æš˜°š˜øš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜§š˜¶š˜š˜ š˜øš˜¦š˜š˜ š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶ š˜§š˜°š˜³š˜Øš˜°š˜µ š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜„š˜°š˜Ø š˜¢š˜“ š˜“š˜°š˜°š˜Æ š˜¢š˜“ š˜µš˜©š˜¢š˜µ š˜“š˜øš˜¦š˜¦š˜µ š˜±š˜Ŗš˜¦š˜¤š˜¦ š˜°š˜§ š˜“š˜µš˜¦š˜¦š˜ š˜µš˜°š˜¶š˜¤š˜©š˜¦š˜„ š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜±š˜¢š˜š˜® š˜°š˜§ š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶r š˜¢š˜š˜³š˜¦š˜¢š˜„š˜ŗ š˜“š˜øš˜¦š˜¢š˜µš˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜±š˜¢š˜š˜®š˜“ š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶ š˜¬š˜Æš˜°š˜ø š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜§š˜Ŗš˜³š˜“š˜µ š˜µš˜©š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶ š˜¢š˜³š˜¦ š˜Øš˜°š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜µš˜° š˜¢š˜µš˜µš˜¢š˜¤š˜¬ š˜øš˜Ŗš˜µš˜© š˜Ŗš˜µ š˜¢š˜Æš˜„ š˜Ŗš˜µ'š˜“ š˜„š˜¦š˜§š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ŗš˜µš˜¦š˜š˜ŗ š˜¢ š˜©š˜¢š˜š˜§š˜š˜Ŗš˜Æš˜Ø š˜Æš˜¢š˜®š˜¦š˜„ š˜‰š˜°š˜£ š˜µš˜©š˜¢š˜µ š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶'š˜·š˜¦ š˜Æš˜¦š˜·š˜¦š˜³ š˜®š˜¦š˜µ š˜£š˜¶š˜µ š˜ŗš˜°š˜¶ š˜š˜Ŗš˜¬š˜¦š˜„ š˜µš˜©š˜¦ š˜¦š˜¢š˜³š˜š˜Ŗš˜¦š˜³ š˜£š˜¶š˜š˜š˜¦š˜µš˜“ š˜ š˜®š˜¢š˜„š˜¦ š˜§š˜°š˜³ š˜µš˜©š˜Ŗš˜“ š˜øš˜³š˜Ŗš˜µš˜¦-š˜¶š˜±.

    How to prepare

I am going to create a discord channel for our game. We will join the game via a voice channel in there. You will need a mic and speakers (a headset works best, in my opinion). Roll20 supplies your character sheet and rolls all dice. You don't need anything extra to be able to play.

    What I provide

I will have everything you need to be successful in the game as long as you are able to connect via discord and have a account.

    Gameplay details

During the first session, we will build characters together and learn a little bit about each other to see what we expect from the game.

    How will character creation work

The adventure begins at level 1. We will be playing on; character sheets will be available as soon as you join up. You can start without me before the game if you like, but the first session will be a session zero in case we need to help new players get familiar with roll20 and building characters.

    Players can expect

    • Roleplay: High
