Descent into Avernus w/ DM Jingleheimer
Dungeons & Dragons 5e on Roll20
Price per player-session
About the adventure
This adventure is worrisome to talk about. How do you tell players that they will 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹 and make it sound okay? "Your characters are going down to Avernus. I hope they avoid the River Styx. They will return to their world as heroes. It'll be okay! I think.... I hope." You see, what happened was, a bad person (literally a politician) made a terrible deal, and now his whole town is being drug downward. Well, this campaign needs a handful of adventures to rough up the deal makers and get the whole town put back where it was. Easy Peasy. It will only take a few months, a lot of luck, and a little sanity. How to prepare
I am going to create a discord channel for our game. We will join the game via a voice channel in there. You will need a mic and speakers (a headset works best, in my opinion). Roll20 supplies your character sheet and rolls all dice. You don't need anything extra to be able to play.
What I provide
I will have everything you need to be successful in the game as long as you are able to connect via discord and have a roll20.net account.
During the first session, we will build characters together and learn a little bit about each other to see what we expect from the game.
Safety tools used
- Luxton Technique
- Luxton Technique Discussion
- Open Door
How will character creation work
The adventure begins at level 1. We will be playing on roll20.net; character sheets will be available as soon as you join up. You can start without me before the game if you like, but the first session will be a session zero in case we need to help new players get familiar with roll20 and building characters.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: Medium
- Roleplay: High
- Puzzles: Medium
- Experience Level: None
